Maria Artemenko, Director of Dobrodii Club, and Oleksandr Todorchuk, founder of UAnimals humanist movement, visited the Podcast of Great Stories.

The philanthropists shared their experience in creating communication campaigns and charitable initiatives from an idea to a visible result.

Here are three interesting tips from Maria and Oleksandr that they voiced during the podcast:

1) Work in charity should begin with an awareness of your superpower, and gradually your potential should be built. It is important to work systematically and set trends. It is also important for a person who starts working in a charity to see his or her career steps apart from the desire to change something.

2) When you offer a partnership, it is advised to create a win-win situation. When creating a joint project proposal for a business, you need to clearly understand and demonstrate why the business needs you and which of your partner’s objectives you can help achieve.

3) If you want to change the situation, you need to change your mind. But quietly you will not change it. When you want to raise money, to attract volunteers and partners, you should be vocal. In fact, the good should not be quiet.
