Ukrainian Cultural Foundation has launched an interactive “Map of Cultural Losses”, which shows the scale of destroying historical and cultural heritage objects due to the Russian invasion.
“According to preliminary estimates, more than 150 different monuments and cultural objects were partially damaged or completely destroyed as a result of a full-scale military invasion of Russia into the territory of free Ukraine. Ukrainian Cultural Foundation is launching an interactive “Map of Cultural Losses” to demonstrate the scale of the destruction. The visualization of such war crimes also refutes the statements of the Russian authorities that the Russian army allegedly inflicts targeted attacks only on military infrastructure,” – UCF says.
“We hope that the map will be a strong argument during discussions with partners on the exclusion of Russia from the ranks of various international cultural organizations or associations,” said UCF Executive Director Vladislav Berkovsky.
