The painting of the world-famous Ukrainian artist Maria Prymachenko about Chornobyl — “Flowers grew near the fourth block” — was sold for $ 500,000 during a charity auction for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The auction was organized by the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation and the Dukat Auction House, which, in fact, provided the foundation with the painting for the auction. Serhiy Prytula announced this on his Telegram channel.

The buyer is currently an unknown philanthropist. He is a Ukrainian from abroad — more information to be shared by Serhiy Prytula later.

The funds will be used for the needs of the Armed Forces: from the purchase of bulletproof vests to high-precision and expensive equipment, said Serhiy Prytula.
